take off

A Puffin takes of from Ireland’s Eye. I made it to the Island yesterday morning. I was on the second crossing of the morning and already the place was full of bird spotters. Lucky for me there where a few Puffins flying around but the sun was very strong so it was hard to keep the highlights from blowing. Lots of photos to get through so plenty of bird pics for the week.

I had planned on attending the photomeet in Cork today but I forgot to apply sunscreen before I left home yesterday morning and I’m now suffering badly from sunburn. I also had a fall on the island and damaged by big lens :[
