walkies

I’ve documented one of my favourite walks I take with Meeko. Working from left to right, first photo we have an old lane which leads to the second photo of Bremore Castle which is in restoration. The third photo is a closer look at the Castle. FAS has been working on it for years and I’d hazard a guess it will be many more years before it’s finished.  The next photo is a Martello Tower.  The fifth photo shows Balbriggan Beach and you can just make out the lighthouse on the left (without it’s dome since changeover from gas to electric).  After that we have the lifeguards hut which is a favourite of the graffiti artist.

The seventh photo is the old Coastguard Station under the main Dublin to Belfast railway line then the next is the harbour.  Finally we have Meeko, well and truly knackered.  There was going to be more but it started to lash rain when we got to the harbour.  Hope you enjoyed a small bit of Balbriggan.

That photo I promised of the other monkey will follow later in the week.
