Very much an amateur photographer living in Balbriggan. I took up photography many, many years ago and my first SLR camera was a Minolta Dynax 500si which was purchased in Florida (with the extended warranty, what was I thinking). A few years after that I had all but given up on my camera and it wasn’t until 2006 that I picked up my first digital SLR, the Nikon D50. It has served me well and is still used for mainly IR shots. I’m currently shooting with a D300 and I tell myself that’s it for a few years. I can’t say I have a particular favourite subject for photography, I just love getting out there and taking shots whether it be by myself or with a group.
